welcome to the               here (after).

how might the future be different if we embraced grief + death

not just individually, but in our systems

not just when people die, but ideas, dreams, and futures die

When the Future Dies is a curated collection of projects around how we feel about the future(s) possible: images of futures unlived, gamifying transitional grief + futures' death, immersive & experiential roles we try on and those we let die, and the generational burden of dying futures + ancestral environmental care.

We're curious about how we build futures that afford and account for the complex & wicked webs we weave. By employing transdisciplinary thinking in art, design, psychology, thanatology, storytelling, spirituality, and education, we're attempting to bring you into the conversation and engage our systems.
